How to Calm a Dog with Calm Doggy Spray
Step 1: Shake well before use.
Combine the essential oils with the water by shaking vigorously for at least 10 seconds.
Step 2: Apply correctly.
Spray the blend on your dog’s neck or collar area, just as you would a flea treatment. Separate the fur and spray close to the skin, avoiding their face, eyes, and mouth.
Step 3: Apply safely.
Spray as far down your dog’s neck as possible so they can’t lick it. Apply 1 hour before storms, fireworks, or other stressful moments. Reapply after 30 minutes if needed. For ongoing use, you can reapply every 3–4 hours.
Suggested amount: 5–10 sprays depending on your dog’s size. Start with less and increase gradually until you find what works.

20 November, 2020Since my German Shepherd Zion has been using Bella Oils – For Body, Mind & Spirit Calm Doggy Spray for her diagnosed anxiety, she has been able to go out more often and is calmer and less stressed. 10 pumps on her backbone area an hour prior to going out and then another 10 sprays half hour before. When I leave the house I feel our dogs get very anxious and because of that they chew everything and always make a mess everywhere. Since using the spray before we go out we return home to no mess. She’s a highly anxious dog normally so a new experience like this was going to make her more anxious so I thought I’d give it a go! 10 January, 2024I actually cannot believe the difference this spray has made to my little Sausage Doggy friends. We have two mini-doxies at home, both get quite anxious at different times – typical of their breed. Our Snag’s really dislike being left at home on their own and can often start howling and get extremely frazzled when they know their Hoomans are leaving. I use the spray about 20 minutes before we head out, and it’s like magic! When we get home, the Snags are of course excited to see us, but they are SO much more zen then what they normally would be. It’s also very handy to use before our walkies – Mr Abe tends to think he is a Doberman and barks at very big dogs, so this helps to ease the ‘tiny man’ syndrome hehe. Highly recommend this product to any doggy owners!!

18 June, 2024We have a 27kg Boxer x staffy. Her normal reaction to storms, thunder, loud surf or noises, and travelling in the car is met with seeming anxiousness. Thunder storms are met with panting, pacing, and barking at the sky or ceiling. We’ve found by applying the Calm Doggy spray in advance especially when taking road trips longer than 45mins, helps to settle our Reb for the journey. We spray on her in accordance with the recommended sprays for her weight, but sometimes an extra spray or two works for better results. When travelling, we apply the spray to Reb’s coat and down the chest 30mins before we set off. We’ll also spray whatever she’s going to lay on in the car, ie dog hammock, towel, calming blankie. That helps keep the car smelling nice and less doggy smell. Win win.
